The work this replaces

Today

  1. Open Xero and set the period.

  4. Repair the formulas the paste broke.
  5. Repeat for the next entity.

  3. Refresh on demand or on a schedule.
  4. Read the last-refreshed stamp in the report itself.

From request to refreshed report

How it works

  1. Request a trial with your work email

One field. We use the email to reply and the page and plan you clicked to understand what you were looking at.

  2. We contact you and connect your first Xero organisation with you

Setup is guided rather than self-serve. You authorise the organisation in Xero; we work through the connection with you.

  3. Choose the reports, periods and accounts the workbook needs

We confirm what your reporting pack actually requires and where each data range should land in the workbook.

  4. Refresh on demand, or set the sheet to refresh on a schedule

The data range updates in place. Everything you built around it stays untouched.

What you keep: your formulas, layouts, charts, commentary, and sharing permissions.

Who it is for

Three reporting jobs CrunchSync is built around

Accounting and bookkeeping firms

Run the same reporting pack across a client portfolio, with each Xero organisation authorised separately and the same workbook structure reused for every client.

Read the management accounts guide

Multi-entity operators

Hold periods, account mapping and consolidation consistent across entities, so a group view is built from defined data ranges instead of copied tabs.

Read the consolidated reporting guide

In-house finance teams

Keep reporting where it already lives. The workbook, the formulas and the commentary stay yours; only the data range behind them is refreshed.

What CrunchSync does not do

  • It does not replace Xero.
  • It starts with read-only reporting workflows and does not change your source accounting records.
  • It is not a business intelligence platform, and it does not build your report for you beyond guided setup.
  • The reports you need are confirmed with you before the trial starts, rather than promised from a list on this page.

Questions

Answers you can check against this page

How does the CrunchSync trial work?

Request a trial with your work email. We reply by email, ask which reports you produce today, and connect your first Xero organisation with you. Full access runs for 14 days, and no credit card is required to start it.

Does CrunchSync change anything in Xero?

CrunchSync starts with read-only reporting workflows. It brings authorised Xero reporting data into Google Sheets without changing your source accounting records, and you can withdraw the authorisation in Xero.

Can a firm connect multiple client organisations?

Yes. Each Xero organisation is authorised separately. The Practice and Scale plans are sized for portfolios, at 25 and 100 organisations.

Do I have to rebuild my spreadsheets?

No. CrunchSync refreshes data into a defined range of the workbook you already use. Your formulas, layouts, charts, commentary and sharing permissions stay where they are.

What does CrunchSync store when I request a trial?

Four things: your work email address, the plan you selected, the page the request came from, and one acquisition-channel category drawn from a fixed list of ten values. Nothing else from the form is stored.

What happens if a trial request fails to send?

Your request is written to the lead database before any notification email is sent, so a failed notification cannot lose a saved request. If the database is unavailable, the form returns an explicit message carrying our contact address and asks you to email us instead of dropping the request silently.

What is not supported?

CrunchSync does not replace Xero and it is not a business intelligence platform. The specific reports, periods and accounts your workbook needs are confirmed with you before the trial starts, rather than promised from a list on this page.

Is CrunchSync affiliated with Xero?

No. CrunchSync is an independent product that connects to Xero. Xero is a trademark of Xero Limited.
