Each entry is dated by the day the change was made in this site’s repository, newest first. Everything listed is already live. There is no roadmap here, and no version numbers, because the product application does not publish them.
Changes
- Scale is $149 a month
- The Scale plan is $149 per month, not $249. The $249 figure was wrong on the site: our own records have said $149 throughout. Plan limits did not change — Scale still covers 100 Xero organisations with unlimited team members, custom refresh schedules and dedicated account support.
- One contact address, written so it is harder to scrape
- The site now publishes a single address, mail at crunchsync.com, and no other. It is not written into the page source as a whole address and there is no mailto link in the HTML: the two halves are joined in your browser. Without JavaScript you still see a readable "mail (at) crunchsync.com" and can type it yourself. The address is deliberately absent from the structured data, because that is copied verbatim by anything that reads it.
- Legal identity, governing law and stated retention periods
- The terms now name who the agreement is with and where it is governed: CrunchSync, 30 North Gould Street, Sheridan, Wyoming 82801, United States, under the laws of the State of Wyoming. The privacy notice names the same business as the data controller and replaces "as long as reasonably necessary" with periods you can hold us to — trial requests and lead records for 24 months from last contact, email correspondence for 24 months, and a verified deletion request actioned within 30 days.
- Site navigation, footer and supporting pages
- Added header navigation and a four-column footer, along with the pages they link to: product, pricing, security, support, terms and this changelog. Type sizes, spacing and text colours now come from one shared token file. The smallest type on the site is 12px, and the muted text and link colours were replaced with darker values chosen to meet a 4.5:1 contrast minimum.
- Navigation on small screens, a real 404 page, and a new icon set
- Below 880 pixels the navigation is a keyboard-operable menu rather than hidden, so a phone visitor now has the whole site. A mistyped address returns a page carrying the header, footer and a list of real destinations instead of an empty document. The site also gained a favicon, an app icon and a web manifest drawn from the same mark, and the link preview image was redrawn to match the palette.
- Retired design explorations removed
- The /designs/* exploration routes no longer build and no longer appear in the sitemap. A test in the repository fails if any of those files return.
- Two guides published
- A dated comparison of CrunchSync and G-Accon, and a guide to producing management accounts in Google Sheets from Xero data.
- Acquisition channel recorded with each trial request
- A trial request now stores one acquisition-channel category from a fixed list — campaign, direct, email, internal, organic_search, organic_social, paid_search, paid_social, partner or referral — and anything outside that list is stored as unknown. The category carries no free text and no personal information. The form also sends a trial_form_started event the first time a visitor focuses a field, so we can see where requests are abandoned.
- Trial requests saved before any notification email
- The trial endpoint writes the request to the lead database first and sends the notification email afterwards. A notification that fails, or is not configured at all, can no longer turn an already-saved request into an error for the person who submitted it.
- Three guides published
- The first resource cluster: connecting Xero to Google Sheets, consolidated multi-entity reporting, and choosing a Xero reporting tool.
Where to go next
The product page sets out what CrunchSync does with an authorised Xero connection and what it does not support. The guides cover the reporting workflows around it. If something on this site is wrong or out of date, tell us on the support page and we will correct it.
